Today's episde was the one with rigby the rhino called "the day of the rhino" and michelle and her friends get ripped off by getting too small action figures in the mail. They go tot he mall and encounter a security guard who acts just like Barney Fife. His vocie even goes into the high pitched at some points especially when he says "The constitution ends at the gap" My question is do you think it was intentional as a tribute to him or as a joke making fun of him" Or do you think its just a coincidence?

I definitely don't think it was a coincidence. I don't necessarily think they were making fun of him, but I don't know if it was a tribute either. The writers probably thought it was funny, and would work in that situation. I thought it was cute, although the actor wasn't nearly as good as Don Knotts. It would've been great if Don came in to do that scene, but he is pretty frail, if I remember correctly from the TV Land Awards.
