Default How Come Jack Always Avoided Lana?

I was watching a old episode last night when Jack went on a date with Lana because Larry told him he could get paid a lot of money for being a escort plus Jack was taking Larry's place on the date cause Larry had to go to San Francisco. Lana was hot to me for a old woman. I don't know why Jack was always trying to avoid kissing her when she wanted to kiss him. LOL@Jack telling Lana that him & Larry were a gay couple when Larry came to Jack's apartment so he wouldn't have to go on a date again with her. Jack said to her, u can't get a leopard to change it's spots hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Then she said i love a challenge LOL.

He always played hard to get when a woman came on to him. I guess he liked being the aggressor.

Jon Ritter also asked that question why Jack was always trying to avoid Lana who is an attractive woman

I wondered about that myself before, too!!!! LOL! I wondered why because, to me, Lana was pretty attractive. She obviously was "older" than the other girls that Jack was interested in but she wasn't THAT old. To me, she only seemed a few years older than Jack, Larry, Janet, etc.

I watched Three's Company as a kid when it originally aired, and I always found Lana kinda annoying.

The funny thing is that I never realized that she was only in 10 episodes!

I always remembered it as her being a regular for a couple seasons.

Apparently she made some impression.

I always wondered, though, did Mr. Furley go on that cruiseship with Lana? Remember where Jack was supposed to go on that 3 day cruise and Janet and Chrissy got in a fight over which of them would go with Jack and then Lana talked her way into going on the cruise but then Jack fooled Lana and got Mr. Furley to go in his place??? LOL! I would have loved to see if the ship had already left and then see Lana's face when she saw Mr. Furley instead of Jack!!!! LOL!

I don't remember that episode. I was watching it last night & the episode was about Larry wanted to take this woman that he liked that was a actress to a cabin so he could be alone with her for the weekend. She told him she couldn't go cause she has to wait by the phone for somebody to call her about some acting work. So in order to get her to go to the cabin with him, he lied to her & told her that Jack was a director & he was gonna get Jack to go to the cabin with them so she could meet him. Jack didn't wanna go at first but he ended up going cause he wanted to get away from Lana cause Lana came over his apartment. Next thing u know Chrissy, Janet, Lana, Mr Furley also show up at the cabin when they weren't invited. Mr Furley & Lana had a deal that if Mr Furley would get Lana some wild strawberries that they would get it on LOL. So when Mr Furley finally got her the wild strawberries, she said where is the cream cause i eat strawberries with cream. Mr Furley pulled out the cream out of a bag & showed it to her. Then he said a deal's a deal & he took her somewhere cause she was trying to get with Jack at the time when Jack got out of the lake & he didn't have any clothes on cause Larry had taken his clothes hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I could understand why Jack avoided Lana. Not that I have anything against older women, but Lana wasn't all that attractive, IMHO (in the "older" woman category, I think that Sela Ward and Lena Olin are smokin' hot). Still, I wish they had kept Lana around because Ann Wedgeworth is a very funny lady, but it was her decision to leave. She asked to be let out of her contract because she didn't feel she had enough to do.

I really loved the Lana/Furley relationship. That always cracked me up.

I think Jack was always ditching Lana because he liked it when HE came on strong and not the woman.

I think Lana intimidated Jack a bit, and she was too agressive, Jack felt like he couldn't be in control with her

Lana was more than just a few years older than Jack and the girls. My guess is that Lana was nearly 20 yrs. older than Jack.

Jack was intimidated by Lana because she always looked like she was ready to eat him alive.
