what are they basing that on? some of those certainly couldnt be considered the best solo by each artist - i wont argue about the 1-50 ranking, because it is pretty subjective, but it seems like they just picked the most well-known solo for each guitarist

for example, no WAY is Whitesnalke's "Fool for your Lovin'" Steve Vai's best solo, same for Angus Young and "Thunderstruck"...

They told listeners to vote online who their favorite guitarist was, and the votes were tallied that way. I'm surprised at the positions of many of the guitarists.

i'm ignoring the positions, just because everyone has their own favorites, I wanna know why they listed THOSE songs for each guitarist

"Fool For Your Lovin'"?? That was a huge disappointment for Steve Vai. He was so much better on his Passion and Warfare album.

I'm not sure either. I wonder if they're trying to just placate the listeners with stuff they're already familiar with. Like they don't want to be too "obscure"...
