I've been collecting for 25 years and just about the only 2 sitcoms that I've not been able to come up with any episodes of are Harris Against the World and Tom, Dick and Mary, both from the trilogy of sitcoms on 90 Bristol Court. Are any of these out there?

There is one episode of "Harris Against the World" extant out there, but I hear it's of poor quality. I'm trying to get one in a trade (featuring a young Jack Klugman). If indeed I acquire one, I'll be happy to share it.

If that indeed does turn out to be true that would be quite a find, even if it is poor quality. Hopefully you can get it on DVDR so there is no further signal loss.

Has anyone ever turned up the other series besides Karen?

...that the other "components" of "90 BRISTOL COURT" are still in the NBC/Universal archives, 'ben'. Because "KAREN" seemed to be the most "successful" of the three series, that got a full season renewal from NBC, while "HARRIS AGAINST THE WORLD" and "TOM, DICK & MARY" were quietly tucked away in MCA's vaults, never to be shown again. I know that the Library Of Congress has at least one episode of each of the three, but no one else seems to have the rest.

They are two of my most-wanted sitcoms. I'd also like to find a KAREN episode with the 90 BRISTOL COURT open...
We all need to watch EBAY for old films. HARRIS and TOM, DICK AND MARY have to turn up someday. Amazing stuff is continually turning up there. |

May I suggest e-mailing David Macklin who starred in Harris Against The World. Maybe he can help you. He answers all e-mails. www.davidmacklin.com He is a friend of mine and takes the time to personally answer all questions. Good luck.
