"What's Happening" mentioned on Reno 911.
Hola!
I have the first season DVD of "Reno 911", which is about a bunch of stupid cops. Funny show. One of the characters is an overweight black woman, but someone who tries to look good and is somewhat vain about her appearence. Her and another cop went to talk to this Indian about selling illegal fireworks. The Indian told her, "Hey, you look like someone I know, Shirley Hemphill from 'What's Happening'. Hey Duane......." the black cop gets upset by this and maces the guy in the face. The Indian is on the ground writhing in pain, and the black woman cop goes, "Hey, Hey, Hey" I laughed my a s s off.
