Anyone watching this great Star Wars Special on A&E tonight?

It's loaded with tons of interviews, plus amazing outtakes and behind the scenes clips! Great stuff!

A&E is repeating it all night long, so set your VCRs if you've missed any of it.

I intend on buying the box set next week, so I made sure I watched as little as possible of this, since it's basically an edited version of the documentary that is going to be on the DVD box set.

I just came across that last night around 4am. I got no sleep last night and I hold George Lucas personally responsible!

I taped it. I love the auditions and the behind the scenes footage. Makes you realize what kind of crap Lucas had to go through to make Star Wars happen. I have even more respect for the man, if that is possible.

I kind of figured a version would appear on the DVD set.
It was really good. I can't wait to see it again.

It was shown on Biography in the UK, I missed the first half hour (which was probably the best part, cos when I switched the show on it was really interesting- talking alot about shooting the film, and going into details about special effects etc), and it was very interesting- most of it anyway, until it got into talking about legal disputes, merchandising and Lucas' Star Wars Special Editions.

if you plan on getting the upcoming Star Wars trilogy box set, the A&E special will be presented as an extended form on the fourth disc
