Hey Sanford fans,
Whatever happen to Slappy White you know Melvin? Melvin was Fred's good old buddy in the first few episodes and then Bubba & Grady came along and no more Melvin..... Why is that? Betty Jean: I love tacos. Are we going to see some Mexicans? |

One thing I noticed about the Melvin character is had no personality. Most of his lines were mainly agreeing with Fred like, "That's right Fred, Yeah Fred." So I'm guessing the producers wanted someone who could carry and deliver punchlines.

He did have a few classic lines of his own though. Don't leave that out. He was funny IMO. I loved'em
