Default Needs New Time Slot

I've actually never posted here before. Though I watched Family Ties almost the whole time it was first aired from 1982-1989 (I watched it from 1984-1989) I have only watched it from time to time in reruns, mostly because it is always shown so late at night. I was happy when TV Land began showing it early this year at 10:00 P.M., I watched it nearly everynight. Now it is back on at a poor, early in the morning time slot. What gives? Why can't TV Land show an episode during a more reasonable hour? After all, they show something like six episodes of Three's Company during a single day.

I didn't even know there was any mini-marathon until I first posted here yesterday and saw the thread concerning the mini-marathon. I'm always home on Thursday nights so I'll be sure to watch it. At what point are they in the series? I always liked the episodes after Alex started college the best. Though the episode where he had his senior prom was one I always liked a lot, probably because his date (or at least one of them) was Jami Gertz, who I absolutley love! I remember when Alex is supposed to dance with his date and both Jami and the other girl are up there and he just faints!

Default Re Needs a New Time Slot

I think Family Ties would be good at 10:30 pm Central Time on TV Land

I was suffering from insomnia this morning, as sometimes happens with me, so I was actually up to see Family Ties for once. It was the episode where Nick becomes a janitor for Mallory's soroity and ends up as one of the girls. Meanwhile Alex and Steven were teaching Andy how to play basketball. A good episode.

Oh, you must have been talking to that "host" guy over on the TV Land board. I don't know who he is, but he should be fired. Back when they were showing Square Pegs, they would always skip the last four episodes, so I posted him on his "host" site and asked him why those last four episodes were never shown. He said he would look into it and post his response. He never did. Then when TV Land took Square Pegs off, I asked the host if it would ever return to TV Land. Again he told me he would look into it and post his response. Again, there was no response. What is the guy there for? You also notice how TV Land takes off all the good shows, but keeps all the bad ones?

The "host" is the guy that monitors the boards over on the TV Land site. I think you can ask him questions by clicking "Ask The Host" or something like that. Just don't expect a reply.

Nice bear. I have one of those from when I graduated high school, "Class of 1994". Excited about college graduation? I sure was, considering how long I was in college!

It was about seven years for me, so don't feel bad. My problem was that when I started I had no idea what I wanted to be. And in college if you are not focused, you are in trouble.
