I remember that show very well a long time ago since I was a kid. It was on WPIX, channel 11 (before WB) when it was used to be on since the 80's. Do you remember the lyrics to the theme song?

Quote:
The Great Space Coaster
S. Michilin - A. Bryannt

It's the Great Space Coaster
Get on board
On the Great Space Coaster
We'll explore

A comet ride of fantasy
To a place where dreams are fast and free
With new friends and new things to see
We'll spin you through the galaxy

On the Great Space Coaster
Oh-oh-oh
On the Great Space Coaster
Off we go

Get on board, step inside
Soarin' on a magic ride
Roarin' towards the other side
Where only rainbows hide

On the Great Space Coaster
(Oh-oh-oh)
On the Great Space Coaster
(Get on board)
On the Great Space Coaster
(Get on board)
On the Great Space Coaster

Off we go!
The theme song rocks! Do you have an mp3 version of the theme song?

I do.

I remember watching that show back in the early 80s, but I don't remember what it was about.

Fluffy Puffy and Scruffy The Huggles
Yep. My fave character was Baxter the Clown, maybe because I was a kid his vibrant colors stood out. I really like that show I was on the official website a few times, brought backa lot of memories.

yeah i have the theme song but on WAV. I tooka bunch of TV themes and made iit into CD, mostly 80's stuff. But that song topped the list.

I liked Baxter, Edison the Elephant, Goriddle, Roy, and Fran the best. I know that the guys who did Baxter, and Goriddle do Muppets now. Noel McNeill AKA Baxter does the voice of Bear in the Big Blue House as well as one of the voices on the Noggin Show OOBI, and Kevin Clash AKA Goriddle is the voice of Elmo on Sesame Street. I used to watch the show on WPIX Chanel 11 then Fox 5 here in NY.

the Semi Annual Comic Con is coming to Novi MI soon, and they usually sell, hard to find rare OOP shows and might just pick up a copy of TGSC supershow, just for grins and giggles. I think that is a show they should add to noggin.
