Why couldn't they just leave it on at it's usual nightly spot, instead now you don't see it as much. They have these mini marathons.

I know! but there not even going to keep that for long now, its getting replaced by the munsters in october (wich i think is really stupid!) I REALLY WANT IT ON DVD!! does anyone know who own the rights to The Addams Family?? cuz they REALLY need to put it on DVD

Because there are only two seasons (~50) episodes.... and other than for die hards they wear out quickly (one or two run throughs) so they retire it for a while and/or change time slot.

I have a feeling they have a long term contract though and like Mr Ed (which was 5 seasons and runs more continually than AF) that both will keep popping up and going away for some time.

They are not playing "The Addams Family" or "The Munsters" (I think its Andy Griffith right now

Please bring "The Addams Family" back to TV!
