Diff Strokes without a doubt.

I could select the Simpson episodes because I intend to own them when the seasons come out

Diff'rent Strokes is a definite for me too. I'd also like to have Survivor All-Stars (enjoyed it) and 7th Heaven. I think I'm in the minority but I like that show. But the only set I'm buying for sure is DS.

didn't Sanford And Son season 4 come out only 2-3 months ago? Shocking Columbia will give it such short delays between seasons when you consider the way they treat AITF and Jeffersons.

I only have about 15 TV-DVDs so far, but I'll be building up my collection in the next few months. I'm really behind, as many of the sets on my list to get came out several months ago. All mine are first seasons, if that tells you anything. There'll be several coming out in the next few months that I will definately be getting on the day they come out though

I already recieved Sanford & Son - Season 5. Im not sure if that counts.

I think DS will be the highest selling "classic" sitcom.
("classic" meaning something older than 15 years old, although I consider some current shows to be classic)

I bet, with the last episode of DS season 1 introducing the Facts of Life cast, we'll see season 1 of that show released when DS season 2 comes out (hopefully) some time next year. At least that would make sense.

I just checked out the ep list for DS season 1, and of the episodes I remember, I'm looking forward to: The Spanking, The Trial, Goodbye Dolly, The Club Meeting, Willis' Privacy and No Time for Arnold. That last one was where Arnold pretended to wet the bed to get attention, but he woke up and found his sheets wet when he didn't do it on purpose. So he hurries and tries to change the sheets before anyone finds out, but Willis and Drummond catch him. The look on Arnold's face when he was caught was so funny. I always love seeing that scene when I watch that episode.
