Default "Fetal Attraction"

"...now that sounds like something i could really belly up to"

man, i love intros like this one!!! a man in a coma wakes up and asks the nurse about what has been happening on "moonlightig" since he went out. she shows him the highlights on a tape. and when he asks if dave and maddie are back together, and she says no, he slips back into the coma. this stuff is so funny!!

dave is determined to learn all he can about child birth. even with bert's help. he ends up with terri, as his lamaz (? spelling) partner. it clicks between them.
maddie decides it's time to go back to LA.
terri tells dave that she doesn't want what they have to end after her baby is born.

the man in the coma and a pregnant bert were the highlights in this one for me.

David and Bert are HILARIOUS in the childbirth breathing lessons. HILARIOUS!

I think David is just priceless and so sweet in this episode. The scene with him going to try to sign up for Lamaze is just the sweetest thing I have ever see him do. And what he tells Terri about Maddie and him is kinda cute too.

Brooke Adams is very likeable as Terri....you kinda gotta root for her....but just not for her with David. We all want Maddie with David.....but Terri you want things to work out well for and for her to be happy too.

I liked this one too. Terri is a nice character to me. She was a sounding board for Dave and we learned a lot about what he was feeling about Maddie through their conversations. I love the last scene on David's bed when Terri admits she's developing feelings for him. He struggles with that and his feelings for Maddie just as Maddie is getting ready to come back. I loved Maddie in this episode too. She seemed back to her old self, very self confident and ready to face David, or so we thought.

I agree with that, too. As much as I wanted to kill her, I liked her. Fantastic character.

This is one of the few episodes I have on VHS from when Bravo aired Moonlighting a few years ago, and it brought back some really sweet memories for me when I watched it this weekend.

I remember watching the whole Maddie/David will they/won't they, do they/don't they bit in seasons 3 & 4 when it originally aired, and I have to say, please don't hurt me, it did get a bit old for me at times, though I realize the fireworks made the show.

It was just nice to see Terry giving David some peace at a really chaotic time in his life, with so many things uncertain. Their friendship really came through, and I agree that David was so sweet to her. In their own way I thought they had incredible chemistry as well... not in a passionate way, but I think it was there, in a very genuine sense. I felt they really cared for each other.
