I found some parts in that episode funny but it defntly wasn't one of the best. One funny scene in thAt episode was in the hospital after James found out how expensive the bill was and start Snapping out

Hopsital Clerk: Mr. Evans please lower your voice we have sick people here

James:you looking at one of them

i NEVER watch "The Investigation"...i think that's the name of it. everybody is losing their job in the family b/c of michael's report or whatever. ?????????????? how is that supposed to be interesting. a few of the episodes, unless it's just me, are serious DOWNERS so i really don't watch them all that often.

florida's rich cousin - dude says he's been driving around and sitting in his car. too ashamed to go home b/c he doesn't have a job.

the baby- her speech in tears about talking about how she can't afford the kids she already got.

HUGE SNORE:
michael's bigfall - i have to admit the little dude who shows up with his parents cracks me up. you can tell he's trying not to laugh when he was going off. and lou gossett jr is looking oddly tastey to me in the episode. there are some funny exchanges on that scene with lou and the kids parents. but still considered boring to me.

A loss of confidence: why is this interesting?

FAVS:
cousin cleatus
florida's protest

I believe the first one you mentioned about everyone losing their jobs because of Michael's letter was called "The Visitor". And yes I can see your point about the negativisms in certain episodes. Downers, downers, downers.

The episode when James loses his job because of Michael's report is called-"The Investigation" J.J didn't lose his job because of the school report only James.

Is the episode-"A Place to Die" a downer?

I think the episodes "The Baby" and "J.J in Trouble" are in the same category-BORING!!!!!!

The Politicians and the Investigation also the episode with Willona dating the deaf friend of J.J.'s. I thought they were boring.

"a place to die" is a complete downer. with the exception of wologna's fiery eulogy and dude doing the hustle with michael...that was pretty it.

"jj in trouble" i'm kinda torn. that was a basic soap box episode about VD. now it woulda been interesting had he had it. LOL

I agree with you on "A Place to Die". It was a really sad episode.
it was cool to see the guy doing the hustle with Michael and I loved Willona's eulogy. I felt bad for Michael.
