Outside Shots of The Bar
Where where the Outside shots of the bar located? Also the footage of the characters outside the bar? was that shot on location in boston?

At the begining of the series it was just to other sets but later on in the series the exterior location shots of the bar were actually the Bull and Finch bar , north of Boston Common. (wikipedia)
