Don't have to rewind, picture and sound quality are better, they last longer than VHS, you can skip ahead to whatever scene you want, etc.etc.etc

There really is no advantage of VHS over DVD.
And anybody how says price, should shut-up and scrap up the extra $2.

But really, all these are nice and fun -- but the beauty of TVDVD is episodes uncut and unedited.
