Default R. Kelly's New CD Sucks

Has anybody heard his Happy People/U Saved Me double cd? I don't like it at all. All the songs are wack except for U Saved Me & his beats sound the same. Happy People sounds just like Step In The Name Of Love. Happy People song is really wack. I liked his other cd's a lot but this new one was a big disappointment. I still haven't heard his first cd. I guess he wants to make songs like Happy People & U Saved Me cause he knows it's a good chance his ass could be going to prison LOL.

Thanks for the warning, I was gonna pick it up next week. He'll never have a cd as good as 12 Play again.

You're right. He'll never make another cd better than that. I don't like the fact that he's doing songs with Nick Cannon, Marques Houston, Big Tymers. He's been collaborating with a lot of wack artists lately & his songs are sounding too popish. He needs to go back to making songs like he did back in the day when he was the man. People like him better when he makes sexual songs. Where did Happy People come from? He just came outta left field with that wack song LOL. Then all of a sudden he started cursin on his songs which i don't really have a problem with but it's not cool for r&b singers to curse. Leave that to the rappers.

If you don't like R. Kelly's CD "Chocolate Factory", besure to listen to other R. Kelly CD's. Try for example "12 Play". It features the singles "Bump & Grind" and "Your Body's Callin'". That's a great CD.

what I didn't get was why R. Kelly made this public statement about how he refuses to work with Justin Timberlake because he considers Justin a fraud and someone who "uses the r&b medium for gain". When he has worked with both Britney Spears and J. Lo.... neither of them exactly have any credibility themselves.

LOL@AKA hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I don't remember R Kelly workin with Britney Spears & J-Lo. Dave Chappelle said he saw R Kelly in Chicago & R Kelly told Dave that he was mad at him that he did a skit about R Kelly peeing on young girls. Dave said u the one who made the videotapes pissin on young girls so how are u gonna be mad at me cause i'm makin fun of it LOL. Dave is a funny dude. I never did see that skit he did about R Kelly. I heard the skit was hilarious.

R. Kelly produced a track off Britney's last album, and he also did a remix for J. Lo. When you work with those two "artists", it looks silly to criticize Justin Timberlake and what he stands for because next to Britney and J. Lo, he looks like a genius.

R. Kelly got into some pretty mean stuff...... His music suffered....

Im my opinion his best solo records are 12 Play and his 1995 double record....... After that you can tell he is into bad stuff...... His 1998 record is full of swearing,etc......

I dont have any interest to listen to his 2004 crap!!

I got cassettes of 12 play and R. KELLY (1995) -- Both NOT "DIGILOG"!!! (And of course the records are not digilog, they were mixed analogue and sound excellent)
