Post Dixie was fired

I found out that she was fired from the show by Gary indirectly. He didn't seem to like her. I was informed by one of the cast members about this so this is accurate. I made one little error on the FOL board about the reunion date so I don't want to mess this one up.

I know it's in the past, but just because
Gary Coleman didn't like Dixie, that's
no reason to fire her. I mean the show
wasn't called the Gary Coleman's Show.
Did the other cast members of the show
like Dixie?

I agree, I thought she was a good Maggie
also, but I liked the other Maggie, Mary
Ann Mobley, the best. That's just me though!

I liked Mary Anne Mobley too. I had not issue with her. I really didn't notice the change. I was a little kid and my sister said that Mary Anne Mobley was the "New Maggie".

Let's get something straight. NOBODY is stupid on this board and #2 I got this information from Shavar Ross (Dudley) myself. Designing Women premiered in the Fall of 1986 and Dixie was let go after the 1984-1985 season.

Mary Ann, do you think you know everything?
How can you say she wasn't fired, what makes you think you know?

I've had an E-Mail from Shavar Ross too and he seems a really nice person.
