I found out that she was fired from the show by Gary indirectly. He didn't seem to like her. I was informed by one of the cast members about this so this is accurate. I made one little error on the FOL board about the reunion date so I don't want to mess this one up.

Why did Gary Coleman have her fired?

I know it's in the past, but just because
Gary Coleman didn't like Dixie, that's no reason to fire her. I mean the show wasn't called the Gary Coleman's Show. Did the other cast members of the show like Dixie? |

I agree, I thought she was a good Maggie
also, but I liked the other Maggie, Mary Ann Mobley, the best. That's just me though! |

I liked Mary Anne Mobley too. I had not issue with her. I really didn't notice the change. I was a little kid and my sister said that Mary Anne Mobley was the "New Maggie".

Mary Ann, do you think you know everything?
How can you say she wasn't fired, what makes you think you know? I've had an E-Mail from Shavar Ross too and he seems a really nice person. |

Guys. We are just going to have to ignore meaningless issues on the board and keep posting.

Forgive me Mary Ann for taking it to this level.
