I need to know what was around in 1978 and some of the laws with ages for my fic, especially since '78 was eight almost nine years before I was born If any one had a link or a site or was a live then could you please help me out its for my fic "A Blast From The Future" One thing i need to know is if they had Microwaves

i think they did, but back then microwaves were killing people of cancer.

well its not like i'm told about '78 often and did they have cable then or was it still only like about four channels on tv?

As for cable TV, it has been around since 1948 though not in the same scale it is today. I recall my parents first getting cable around 1970 or 71 in a small town in Central California near Sacramento.

thanks all i'm thinking about stop writing it since no one seems all that interested, i have other things i could do aswell like put together my portfolio for college sorry for the trouble
