I don't HATE the episode, but i wish it would have turned out differently. I think they should film a reunion and somewhere during the show they would say what's happened in the years since the show. If it were up to me, I'd have Jack and Vicky break up and have Phillip get killed in a car accident and then Jack and Janet would get married and move back into the apartment.

I despise the last episode. It's depressing. I think everyone wanted Jack and Janet to get together. They shouldn't have brought in Vicky, who's like a total stranger (no offense to the actress who played Vicky), in the show to play Jack's love interest. She isn't really funny (again...no offense.), I mean she's a good actress and everything, but, she's more of a drama actress. Jack and Janet have been through eight whole years together, have roomed with three blondes, comforted each other, been together through tears and happiness, seen each other grow up. It just feels weird that Jack would even like a upper-class girl like Vicky. It's really frustrating! Why did Janet marry Phillip? They don't match at all. Like Vicky, Phillip is a stranger to the show. Janet and Jack are perfect together. They remind me of peanut butter and jelly, one is always going to pull one together when there is trouble.

grr i HATE the ending ep 2! it's soo annoying that was such a bad way to end TC! the writers/producers were more interested in launching Three's a crowd than giving the show a decent ending. They were just throwing the characters of Janet and Terri away it makes me soo mad.

Well, I didn't mind Jack and Janet not ending up married to each other. I mean, they had lived together platonically for so many years, I didn't see why they had to develop an interest in each other now. I thought it was an all right ending except for the final scene.

I can see why Three's a Crowd didn't last that long judging by the way things were set up at the end of Three's Company.

They never ever got married. If TAC lasted another season they WOULD have.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm glad Jack and Janet didn't get together at the end -- they're too much like brother and sister to me.

Perhaps a better way to end the show would have been to do the "Three's a Crowd" setup a couple of episodes before the last one. Then, the last episode could have focused exclusively on Janet's wedding and the roommates moving out, with some guest appearances by Cindy and the Ropers.

I personaly wanted Chrissy and Jack to get married, but we all know that would have been impossible. Jack and Janet always acted like her parents, and you could tell Chrissy and Jack loved each other. When other men don't make moves on her, Chrissy is happy. But when Jack doesn't, she breaks down.

Now Sitcomsgrl89, look at any of the episodes with Chrissy (Esp. "Chrissy's Night Out" and "Chrissy's Hospitality") and tell me they didn't love each other.

Cool

Ok Sean...if u think Jack and Chrissy r perfect...thats your opinion.

IMO, I just think Jack and Janet are perfect for each other because they lived together for seven years, they stick together through thick and thin, they've lived through three blondes, and they have fights...just like a married couple!

And i know Jack kinda had a thing for Chrissy at the beginning....i kinda felt bad for Janet though cuz jack would pay attention to CHRISSY...and ignore Janet sometimes...

Its just my opinion though.....
