"i'm just.....acting happy. aren't you happy?"

after doing the big "it", our heroes wake up and argue about how to keep last night a secret. maddie says it was a mistake. just then, a woman comes to hire the to prove her boyfriend really loves her.
her fathers fakes his death to frame the boyfriend. they both admit to murder to protect the other. the father realizes the man did love his daughter after all.
dave and maddie continue to work things out. even in the car on a hill. and they beign to get heated and the car rolls down the hill backward. they are just too preoccupied to notice...

As I've said before, I've never understood why Maddie wants to forget anything ever happened between her and David. It's probably typical Maddie to panic about being 'spontuneous' tho!!

It's great to watch Maddie struggle between heart and head in this episode, tho it doesn't seem to take much to get her to succumb again "there's just a part of me that can't help wanting to find that spot on your neck..."

One of the best eps ever in my opinion!!!! David is just adorable in this episode....sigh...

Yes! One of the BEST!

Finally a chance to see the normally "stiff and tense" Maddie being in heat.

The car scene is a killer, that guy knows how to talk a woman in the bed!

She can't resist, she just CAN'T!!!

I absolutely loved this episode. I would give it a 10.

The car scenes were so wonderful - and that last scene - love it, love it, love it. They just couldn't stay away from each other.

I loved the way the plot kind of followed their own story.

I can watch this episode repeatedly (and I do

).

Like Taz says, "Why does this keep happening?" "...because it's terrific, that's why!"

Yes, I agree Taz it was impressive how David could talk Maddie into bed like that

It took them 2 years to get to that point start with, but it obviously became addictive after that!! Proves, as you say that whilst Maddie could be one of those "Essed words", she could melt just as easily!!

Oh wow! Now this is my alltime favorite episode of Moonlighting. I could write a book to tell you all the cool things about this one.

Some of my fav. elements:

1) The title and its relationship to the famous quote by Alexander Pope (To err is human, to forgive divine) as well as a cinematic reference to the film The Heiress with Olivia deHaviland who is a woman that has a similar quandry as the client.

2) How Agnes reacts to each M & D the morning after when they come into work. How ironic that Maddie enters as subdued, quiet as ever...and Agnes spots it in a minute and is all over here saying Wow what happened...you look different...you look great. And then when David arrives a bit later broadcasting his glee and with his song selection announcing exactly what he is deligted about....Agnes, just looks at him and doesn't pick up on it then at all. Too funny!!!

3) David and Maddie are just so physical with each other in this episode.... I love how they can't keep their hands off each other...and this to me rings true when one is first starting up a physical relationship. All they want to do is you-know-what!!! That scene in the car when David seduces Maddie to me is such a revealing bit in that one can only imagine how hot hot hot these two are together.

4) I love the client and her fiance...they are really great people and there only problem is they are in love with someone outside of their own particular social strata.... and exageration in a way of the dichotomy between Maddie and David...or at least parallels Maddie's assessment of why they shouldn't be together.

5) I love the resolution of this one. Love does triumph...even in the case of David and Maddie. The first time I saw that ending scene with the car rolling backwards down the hill that was so funny and unexpected to me. Can you imagine their shock when they realized where they were and what was happening....once they got to the bottom of the hill and stopped.... I bet somebody coming to check out the problem got an eyeful!!

Now I am really gonna be naughty here....you know what to me is just the sexiest part of this episode.... and there are plenty of great moments to pick from.... but here is the real pulse pounder ....

Sitting in the car as David is telling Maddie about all the various things he wants to be doing to her body with his mouth....notice how he starts at the back of her neck....and each time he adds something, he gets lower and lower and lower. Oh my! The mind reels at the possibilities!

I'm not trying to be out of the loop, but I don't know what you are referring to. Does "angel kiss" have a special meaning that I am not aware of?

The car scene was definitely one of the sexiest scenes in Moonlighting. Yikes -- between baby kisses, angel kisses, the looks both of them gave each other, and "that spot on your neck", WOW!
