I'm a big fan of the 1993 movie Menace II Society and when I first saw it back in 2003 (or 2002...whenever I first saw it!) on IFC I thoguht to myself, the grandmother and grandfather looks like people who have been on Good Times before...

I recgonized the grandfather from Menace II Society right away without having to check it out on IMDB as the guy(that old man) in A Place To Die...

And I recognized the grandmother from Menace II Society too but I wasn't sure who she played but I knew I had seen her on Good Times before and I just checked her out on IMDB and she played Bookman's wife!!!

I also checked the grandfather from Menace II Society and I was right!

Sad, pathetic, and weird how I knew that!!!

you are exactly right. but it makes me wonder just how much make up dude had on in the "a place to die" episode to then star in M2Society at what looked like his true age in the late 90s.
