Default What The Hell Happened to Lucy Talk?

I used to post every so often on "Lucy Talk" (I can't even rememeber my screen name now...I think it was "Mambo Mama") and I see it's kaputska! Did someone finally wisen up about those three female bearded beeotch terrorists who used to run it? They used to get their rocks off by bullying people and intimidating them. Liz, Jen and Sherry I think their names were. What boards are they on now so I can start running?! Is it safe here?? Love, Shanda

Lucy Talk 'passed away' earlier this year. The owners were too busy with their newfound parent role and had to cut expenses; including the board.

You posted "every so often," can barely recall your own screen name, and yet you can recall the names of 3 people you claim were bullies?

Then again, I guess when you get banned from a board, the names of the people you harrassed and who got you banned tend to stick with you, don't they?

Me thinks someone has a bit too much free time that could be put to better use, don't you?

How do you know that "they" got you banned? Maybe your sarcasm and bullying got you banned. Ever think of that?

I agree with Lodee and Lucy 101. Whatever took place happened last year. Get over it and move on with your life. It's funny, every time there's a lull around here someone brings up all kinds of unnecessary junk to stir the pot. Furthermore I know those girls from Lucytalk and I know they would not have jumped on anyone unless they were jumped on first. That did happen quite a lot. Liz, in my opinion, had every authority in the world to call the shots because it was HER website after all! Plus I never saw Sherry and Jen do anything, here or there, except defend themselves when people criticized them or their opinion. You know, there is only one person in the whole world that I know about that loves to keep bringing this stuff up. Without naming names, she was a member of Lucytalk until she got canned for calling someone else an unprintable name in an uncalled-for situation. "Shanda Lear", would that happen to be you? Anyway, just leave those girls alone. They obviously don't want to start anything with you or else they'd be here, right? Looks to me like they don't give a rat's patootie about you so you should do the same and drop it like a pile of books.

Welcome Lucyfan4life! We're glad to have you here! I also noticed this forum has been kinda dead lately, but I think with new people joining and the second season on DVD just being released, there will be more activity in this forum!

Default ok people lets get this over with!

Yes it may be "dead" here but starting up trouble is not what i would call new topics

I for one think there should be more topics but since a couple people have came there has been more "yelling" and more cussing it was boring when the board was " dead " but it was more family oriented sooo... can we please just have conversations about Lucy not what happened some where else and without bad words because I am sure that there are many young kids who come in here to read ABOUT LUCY and they see these words I dont think (in my oppinion) you would like and/or are intending to put that in there minds that cussing is ok I am not saying you are doing that thats is just how I feel trying to be rude but can we please please please just talk about Lucy and not what has gone on

Well I never wanted any trouble to begin with and I don't think I cussed if I remember correctly. If I did, then I apologize. I just want everyone to get over what happened a long time ago (and on a different board yet!). I meant new topics like more discussion on the DVDs...and there's that new book due out to the public next month....remember the new scrapbook? I can't wait for that! Who else is ready for it? Also more about Lucy herself would be great!

Please watch what you ask for! I've also had my run-ins with that (as Shanda put it, beeotch terrorist). I kind of enjoy the atmostphere that's here with people who actually are respectful of one another and tolerant of diverse opinions, and who regard Lucille Ball as a hugely talented performer/human being, not as a goddess they must pray to.
