I would not only like to see all 32 episodes of the Second Season, but I hope they will add the following...
1. The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright 2. Fred Gwynne: More than a Munster 3. Yvonne De Carlo: Gilded Lily 4. Al Lewis: Forever Grandpa 5. The Black & White Presentation (with Joan Marshall) 6. The Black & White Pilot (with Yvonne De Carlo) 7. Some CBS Network Promos 8. Seven Wonderful Nights (with Buddy Ebsen) 9. Wayne & Schuster Take an Affectionate Look at the Monsters 10. Marineland Carnival 11. Big G, Little O (A Cheerios Commercial) 12. It's What's Happening, Baby (with "Murray the K") 13. We Don't Knock (with Lenny Clarke) 14. Universal Newsreels 15. Syndication TV Spots 16. Munster Go Home Theatrical Trailer and TV Spots 17. Munster Go Home 18. The Munster's Revenge 19. Here Come the Munsters 20. The Munster's Scary Little Christmas 21. The Mini-Munsters 22. The Best of the Munsters 23. Fred Gwynne's guest appearance as Herman Munster on The Danny Kaye Show I know it's a long shot to get all these in their, but I'm hoping for the best!!! |

Your right! It is a long shot & We will NEVER see all of what you have suggested on the second season DVD set!
Yes it would be nice to see the other 2 unseen pilots & the four other A&E Biography Specials that you mentioned, but other than that, don't hold your breath for those 4 Reunion films! Those belong on a Seperate DVD! There is just not enough space on the second season set for everything you mentioned. Yes, it is possible, but it would take up another 3 discs & the price would be over $100.00! Universal wants to market these at a price that all buyers can afford & at the same time not go over their budget! |

I think Universal needs to release another box set after the second season. I should be a four disc set containing: Munster, Go Home!-The munsters revenge-Here come the munsters-The munsters scary little X-mas and as a Bonus the mini-munsters!
The rest of the things munster#1 mentionned should be as extras in the second season release. As the second season contains 32 episodes , 3h would be available since the first season carries 38 episodes and the price could remain the same!

This is all just my opinion and nothing more.
1, 2, 3 & 4: (I'd think these, 1-2-3, would be available after the second season comes out. They were to be on the Image release that was stopped. I think they would be in limbo until Image gets the okay to do whatever Universal doesn't.) 5. B&W Pilot (w/JM): (Doubtful considering the quality of the color version in the first season set.) 6. B&W Pilot (w/YDC): (Unlikely, but not ruled out.) 7. CBS Promos (Unlikely, but not ruled out.) 8. Seven Wonderful Nights (Maybe...) 9. Wayne & Schuster (Could be...) 10. Marineland (Likely.) 11. Cheerios Commercial (Maybe...) 12. It's What's Happening, Baby (No idea...) 13. We Don't Knock (No idea...) 14. Universal Newsreels (Slight chance, if Universal remembers they're there.) 15. Syndication Spots (Doubtful.) 16. MGH Trailer and Spots (Unlikely.) 17. MGH movie (Possible.) 18. Munster's Revenge (Not likely.) 19. Here Come the Munsters (Not likely.) 20. Scary Little Christmas (Not likely.) 21. The Mini-Munsters (Possible.) 22. The Best of the Munsters (Don't think so.) 23. Fred Gwynne as Herman on Danny Kaye (Possible.) My best, Dirt MunsterKoach.com |

I don't understand. Were there three pilots that were totally different? If all the black and white pilot was but a reshot of the color one, only in black and white, I think that we can do without it. We can always program our televisions to black and white if we ever wanted to see the pilot in B&W that badly.

There is a color pilot with Joan Marshall. Then there is the exact same thing in B&W.
Then later they made a third all new B&W pilot with Yvonne De Carlo. |

Hence, if the black and white pilot with Joan Marshall be the same as the color pilot, why must we insist that it be included as a bonus feature on season two's set? We can always program our televisions to black and white, and watch the color pilot. It would be the same thing.

Yeah, but it feels good knowing you have the original copy. Besides, I don't think it's 100% the same. I think they added a few different scenes to it, and added a closing theme.

The B&W pilot with Joan Marshall isn't exactly the same as the color version. It opens with a slightly different shot, and closes with a shot of Grandpa's cauldron bubbling. It also has an explanation of the show as the theme music plays again, running over the house, like the credits.

Yes the second b&w pilot is not just a copy of the color pilot. The car that Marilyn's boyfriend is driving is different. Marilyn's clothes are different & all of the actors speak their lines in a different way.
