Guys,

Who remembers the "Paper Chase" episode during Family Ties original airing? This is the one where Mallory has to get at least a B on her History Final Exam to pass Mrs. Hillman's course to be able to graduate. What lines are edited out from N@N/TV Land's versions of this episode? Doesn't Mallory have a classic line where Alex tells her what the Louisiana Purchase is? Mallory answers back, Oh, I didn't know that, I thought the Louisiana Purchase was about shopping in Louisiana!!" Is this great line from that episode?

I watched this episode today (since it was on about a week ago and I had recorded it on Tivo) and that line wasn't there, unfortunately. Mrs. Hillman does ask about it, but Mallory's response wasn't amusing. I'm still mad at TVLand for editing episodes like that. Oh well, I guess I can't be too mad since without TVLand, I wouldn't be able to watch it at all.

With regard to the edit,

Do you remember the line and how does it come about between the exchange of dialogue between the characters? It IS from this episode correct? Mallory has several funny school lines like this!!!
