Couldn't agree more! I enjoy the earlier cases more and they are much more spooky. The lighting and the background music really add to the storyline.

Sometimes I think Lifetime reads this board. LOL!
I'm glad to see the older episodes airing again, I've been wishing for it for quite some time. |

Well, I remember one case having to do with a young woman named Nancy having been abducted from her back porch by her brother-in-law as her sister slept. Then murdered in the woods after she stood up to him.
The second case in which I remember had to do with a police captain who was found dead near a gas station back in 1988. When one of his fellow officers found him, it appeared that he had been shot in the head and the gun was lying about a few feet away on the ground. His death was ruled a suicide but his family strongly doubts that he had killed himself. One speculation was that he may have been targeted because he and another officer went after a certain mob back in the 1960's. But again it's speculation and it hasn't been confirmed as being the reason behind his death. The third one I remember had to do with a man who drove into the woods in California. He stopped at a certain point, looked over and saw a young, blond-haired woman on her knees looking up at him. He had no idea why she was there and suddenly, four long-haired men confronted him all while acting like mad dogs, which frightened him and he drove away. I think over time he notified the police about the incident and when they searched the area, they found a human skull. His sighting of her and the incident as a whole, launched the murder investigation of a young woman who had been murdered in the same woods a year prior to the discovery of her skull. And the fourth one had to do with a family having been separated, thanks to a nosy neighbor who had it in his mind that the children were being abused by the mother and father. They were poor and living in an abandoned school bus. After the neighbor had reported their living condition, the mother and father were thrown in jail and stayed in there for one week while the children stayed elsewhere. They eventually lost their children and died years later with the wish that they would be reunited. All of these cases were shown in different episodes during this week. |

Yeah and the guy whose face was covered by his hair, at first it sounded as if he was growling but then he started saying something to the man. Basically threatening him. Do you remember the part when they all heard him approaching with his car and then ran behind the bushes, jumped out, startling him, because he stayed there? He sat there long enough in order for them to have had time to terrorize him.

http://da.co.la.ca.us/mr/042004a.htm It is a belated update on the case. This past April, a man named David Rademaker was charged with the Kimberly's murder. No known trial date yet, which is hardly a surprise (considering the fact that California criminal trials are often delayed). Indeed, the Kimberly Pandelios murder was believed to have been connected to the November 1995 murder of model Linda Sobek (whose killer, Charles Rathbun, is now serving a life sentence for her murder). |
