Question Where can you go to find out how to develop pictures?

I take pictures alot. It's a hobby. Also they bring back great memories. I was curious I am interested in developing my own pictures. Where could I go to learn? My college offers some classes on how to take pictures.

Going to the local college would be a good idea. Maybe a photographer in your area offers classes. Just check around. But I think a local college would be your best bet.

I took photography this past year in school. It was pretty cool. I even learned how to develop color pictures. It's a pretty cool thing to get into.

Where you in a red room? Also do you have to develop them in a special room or can you develop them in your house?

I was in a red room. At first it may seem difficult, because you have to almost do it blindly. One of the things you have to do is take the film out of the canister in the dark, and then thread it onto a spool and drop it into a canister for the developing fluid. Its really fun once you get the hand of it. Its been a while since I did it so things may have changed.

You could develop them in your house, but you would have to buy all the equipment, and be careful with the developing solutions that you use. I would start at school, and talk with an instructor who knows more than I do.

I know how you feel, I have always wanted to have a darkroom of my own in my house.

Hope that helps!
