I know nothing will ever be as good as the original Saved By The Bell but does anyone here think that NBC should bring back Saturday mornings and put on some new shows like a newer Saved By The Bell and just keep it going somewhat like Saved By The Bell: The New Class but keep the same actors over a span of time. NBC needs to recreate Saturday mornings with some good new Peter Engel shows.

Yeah. I think it would be great if NBC could do that for the new generation of kids. However, probably not with Peter Engel productions anymore, since he retired from TV and is now a Dean of a Communications school at a University. here is a link announcing his position back in 2003

I'll bet that if Saved By the Bell were brought back, it would be a comedy-drama like "Seventh heaven" or "Degrassi" or something. Maybe gave the characters more depth.

I don't think they could pull it off again.
They would probably recycle storylines from the original. Also, you know that, if they had a SBTB today, they would use actors that weren't teenagers, and I hate when they do that. Also, it probably wouldn't be as clean of a show as it was back then. They'd have to have love affairs, scandals, bad language, etc. |
