My God - the deceased list from that show alone could fill a cemetary.

Almost makes you wonder if there was some kind of curse if you had a bit part on the show.

It looks like most of the deaths were elders who were born "pre-war" so probably not out of the ordinary. Also, it has been about 16 years since the start of the show and 7 since it ended so we are getting out a bit in years so having a bunch of deaths seems normal.

I just wanna highlight a few - living in Australia most of these are a suprise to me - i only knew about Lloyd Bridges, Mel Torme and John Randolph.
First of all - Barney Martin died!! Holy crap! Eric Christmas has been in absolutely everything. Sandy Baron - didn't know that, these are major recurring characters Fans of Picket Fences will of course know Roy Brocksmith as the school principal, also he had a memorable role in an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation. David Graf for those who can't place the name is the infamous Tackleberry from the police academy movies - they just played 2 of them on TV this past weekend (down under) that's sad. Gordon Jump will go down in history being famous for WKRP as well a rather notorious episode of Diff'rent Strokes. I remember Kay E Kuter from an early episode of Star Trek Deep Space Nine a year or so before "The Conversion" John Randolph, of course, played another famous sitcom father to Roseanne and Jackie. |
