Question Ropers vs. Furley

Who do you guys like the best? I liked them both, but I liked the Ropers much better than Furley.

i also liked the Roppers better, I loved how Mrs. Ropper was always making jokes about Stanley. and i loved how Mr. Ropper always made fun of Jack and called him a "tinkerbell" because he thought Jack was gay.

Furley all the way.

Don Knotts is a sitcom god. Plus, I can't stand the Ropers.

Mrs. Roper is too old to be that over-stimulated, and I hate Mr. Roper's camera mug.

Three's Company was perfect in season 4, when it had both Furley and Chrissy in the cast!

I totally disagree. Mrs. Roper didn't look old. She was about 50 (I think), when she was on Three's Company. She was really pretty and very funny. Furley is good, but the Ropers were the best. Mr. Roper was funny while picking on his wife and calling Jack "Tinkerbell" and making a fairy impression. I always liked it when he tried to avoid having "you know what" with his wife by saying "Not Tonight Helen, I got a headache." Those two made me laugh and Three's Company wasn't the same when they left. I can't wait to see the Ropers. When will they air on TV?

The Ropers were way better then Mr. Furley. I noticed something strange, but I think that you guys should notice this to. The Ropers were their landlords for only 2 years [1977-1979]. While Mr. Furley was their landlord for 5 years [1979-1984]. Why did it seem that the Ropers were on for longer?

I think the Ropers are much better. As far as it seeming that the Roperts were on longer than Furley, I think it's because of this: the episodes with the Ropers were the longest, most consistent set of shows in terms of tone, setting, and cast. They were on for two full seasons, plus the short six episode season from the spring of 1977.

After the Ropers left, changes came pretty frequently. Furley was only there for a year when Chrissy disappeared. Then Cindy came, and after another year, Terri came. Then Cindy left, and later on they started focusing on the Bistro (ugh) a lot more.

I loved the Ropers! They are my favorite characters on the show. They're so funny with their jokes and insults. I love it when Stanley keeps saying, "Not Tonight, Helen!" or his Tinkerbell impression toward Jack. I thought it was so funny when the Ropers fought over everything such as money and Stanley not spending a lot of time with his wife. Furley wasn't too funny, though. His outfits were kinda strange. But anyway, I wished the Ropers stayed for a long time. They were great characters and a lot better than Mr. Furley.

I would have to say Roper. Mr. Roper was so hallirours because he was a snot ass , careless, selfish landlord who cared more about the rent then Mrs. Roper.

Cool

I liked the Ropers better. Mr. Furley was OK, but he acted kind of stupid sometimes.
