Default Airing of New Episodes on Holidays
Can someone tell me if there has been a new episode aired on a holiday within the last 15 years?

I'm asking because i saw that in the 70's, All in the Family had a Christmas Episode aired on Christmas Day, along with Bob NewHart. Also Chico and the Man aired a new episode on Christmas eve one year. So just wanted to know has this happened with TV shows after 1990.

If I'm not mistaken Living Single's series finale aired on New Years Day 1998 and had a new year's eve theme.

Years ago in the 60s and before it was common for shows to air nonholiday related original episodes on Christmas day.

The assumption by networks is that fewer people watch tv series on Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Years, but I wonder if this is really true.
