Sopranos and Goodfellas . . . .
I just watched Goodfellas again last night. I hadn't seen that movie in many years. I remember seeing it at the movie theatre when it came out and I was glued to the screen. Anyway, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between Goodfellas and the Sopranos. Was the Sopranos based on Goodfellas??? Even at one point in the film, "Karen" was saying (in one of the voice-overs) something to the effect of: " . . . we are in two families . . . our family and his other family" (i.e., referring to the "gang" family. This is right off of the packaging for the Sopranos! "Two Families!!!"
Well, anyway, I know that Dr. Melfi is in this movie as "Karen" and I saw Christopher in here as "Spider." Is there anyone else from the Sopranos in here??? I thought I noticed Big Pu$$y in there near the beginning where they took over the restaurant and they were moving things in and out. Anyway, I thought the one pushing the rack of coats was the actor who played Big Pu$$y. Signed, Respectfully, Dutch |
