Okay, put all opinions of episode content out of your minds, although it may help having seen the ep to understand the title.
The Frasier writers have produced some excellent titles over the past 11 years, so which were the best? Obviously this is too vast for a poll, but I suggest looking at a list (e.g. TV Tome) to jog the memory... Here are my favourites from each season: 1. Space Quest 2. Seat of Power 3. Martin Does It His Way 4. Our Father Whose Art 'Aint Heaven 5. Roz and the Schnoz 6. Dial M For Martin 7. RDWRER (and) The Apparent Trap 8. Legal Tender Love and Care 9. Bla-Z-Boy 10. Analyzed Kiss (and) Star Mitzvah 11. Gun 'n' Neuroses I think the prize goes to RDWRER. I still nearly burst out laughing just thinking about it. But, it helps if you've seen the episode.

Those are some good titles. And they're also proof that the writers are all a bunch of nerds: they love puns!! This is a little off topic, but here are more examples of title with puns:
"You Can't Tell a Crook by His Cover" "And the Whimper is..." "Flour Child" "Chess Pains" "Dad Loves Sherry, the Boys Just Whine" "To Kill a Talking Bird" "Roz's Krantz & Gouldenstein are Dead" "The Maris Counselor" "A Tsar is Born" "The Apparent Trap" "The Fight Before Christmas" "Whine Club" (they really overuse the whine/wine pun) "The Great Crane Robbery" "Mary Christmas" "It Takes Two to Tangle" "The Wizard and Roz" Ok that's enough. I think we all get the point. These are ones that I really like: "Travels With Martin" (also nice that it's based on the book Travels with Charley, which I haven't read but find funny because Charley was Steinbeck's poodle). "A Midwinter Night's Dream" "It's Hard to Say Goodbye If You Won't Leave" And I like these two because of the Cheers link: "Where Every Bloke Knows Your Name" "Radio Wars" |

It is a continuation of the pilot, as it starts the next morning. But it's also about Frasier's desperate search for solitude in his suddenly crowded apartment. Space Quest.

As far as a best show and title combo goes it's hard to go past "To Kill a Talking Bird"

So far my favorite episode title (not the actual episode but the name of it) is "Frasier Has Spokane". That's not one of my favorite episodes, but every time I hear that title it makes me laugh! And the content of the actual episode is what makes it even funnier!

Both Frasier and Cheers have some of the best episode titles in all of sitcom history. Much better than the gimmicky starting-each-title-with-the same-word-or-two that some shows do. What I like best is that some titles I realized are a joke or play on words years later. My faves:
- How To Bury A Millionaire (also my favorite episode) - Give Him The Chair! - Where There's Smoke There's Fired - Where Every Bloke Knows Your Name - The Maris Counselor - A Tsar Is Born - Hooping Cranes - Bla-Z-Boy |
