Default The Lost Cheers Character

If you could add a character to join the existing Cheers gang, who would it be? It could be an already existing character or one you created.

This is on a somewhat different subject.... but if the series had come back for a 12th season, I think both Kelly and Paul would become regulars.

But, as for anyone.... I think Andy Andy wouldve made a great addition. He was obviously liked enough by the cast to have returned so many times.
But on the other hand, Ive always liked Harry The Hat.... so he gets my vote.

Since you didn't say it, I'm going to steal your idea. I really liked that idea you had about how Rebecca's character could have been different.

She would be a Maris-type character (not played by Kirstie). A rich snob with absolutely no ambitions who eventually learns how to "live" from the guys at the bar. And her name would be....um, I don't know. I'm bad at names.

Out of your suggestions, my favorite is Andy Andy.

Harry is definately one of my favorite characters, he wouldnt have done well as someone listed as a star, but he would have made a great reoccuring character, I'm sure he could have scammed woody quite a few times :P

I'd agree with Andy Andy. I love him! He's so funny. I was watching Diane's Nightmare last night, and I was reminded of how great he was. "Hi there!" He's the last person you'd expect to be a murderer. And I loved how they introduced his character into the show.

Yeah, I luv how Sam convinces Diane 2 go out w/him even tho Sam just found Andy Andy in the backroom of the bar. Sam finds it funny, but Diane doesn't find it funny. & : I like Kelly, Andy Andy & Harry the hat, but what about Gary from Gary's Old Towne Tavern? Wasn't he played by 2 people? (I think 1 passed away in 1990 or so)

I thought Andy Andy was charming. Thank goodness Cliff was there! Andy Andy made me laugh so hard, once, milk almost came out of my nose!

Definitely Andy Andy....in my opinion the greatest non-regular character in Cheers history.

I really like Phil also, but he was relatively regular in the later episodes.

Woody: I was up all night listening to Phil talk about how he was involved in the Manhatten Project
Phil: Try living with that on your concious for 50 years!

Norm: Sam, your life has gotten so boring Cliff and I are thinking of living vicariously through Phil.
Phil (talking to two women): So everytime I take my clothes out of the dryer, a sock is missing.
