how many of you have seen the real 'cheers" in Boston? AKA, The Bull & Finch pub. I saw the outside of it once, but my brother, who was in Boston on buisness once, saw the outside and inside once. He just looked in but didn't go in, and he said it's not at all like the show. They have a long bar along the left wall, and tables and chairs along front of it, and that's it.
Oh, and a back room that sells tee-shirts and stuff. |

I went there a few years ago. I kept picturing in my head it would be just like the TV Cheers. It kind of disappointed me a little. But I got over it. I even ate at the restaurant upstairs. Talk about OVERPRICED!

I've never been there. The closest I've gotten is knowing someone who went there! My senior year in high school (which was before I was the big fan I am now) our school's choir went on their annual trip to Boston. My English teacher, who also happened to be the teacher I TAed (teacher aided) for that semester went as a chaperone. After they got back she was showing me all the pictures from the Boston trip, and she said, "Oh, and here's the Cheers bar." LOL, even at the time I thought it was so cool. But, as for me, I've never been there.

I went there in March. We could walk there from our hotel... so we went a few times for drinks.

I went there the summer before Junior year. If you look back you should find all the posts and anticipation leading up to my Boston trip. Man those were some good times. I am going back to Boston this summer too. The Cheers bar is just excellent. I stood outside for like an hour just admiring and thinking to myself "wow, right here". The food is really good, I ate in every room there was and bought a bunch of stuff for my collection. I totally recommend going there, Boston is a wonderful city.
