Question about Cory and Topanga - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

How come Cory said he dated Topanga since he was two (or however long it was) but then in the first season he didn't like her? It doesn't make sense. Then he said that he kissed her when she was little, but later on said she gave him his first kiss in sixth grade.
