Default ep where ann slapped alex

i remember this ep pretty well im wondering if you think ann went a little overbored by slapping him im not sure my self i can understand why she would want to slap him the way he was acting and all but maybe shuld have told nick what happend and let him take care of it what do you all think?

I agree that Alex was asking for it.He really behaved badly,even though he was a kid and all,and I can understand where he was coming from(and so could Barbara,she was able to relate to his situation,having been in the same kind of situation herself as a kid with the same feelings),it was still no excuse to do some of the things he did.If you recall,he actually punched Ann before she slapped him.If he had done that to me,I'd have pinned him to the floor.When Nick demanded an explanation from Ann for hitting his son,she should have mentioned to Nick how her son punched her.

She slapped him after smashing the plant on purpose. I did not know that he had punched her. I thought he seriously had it coming. I don't play that mess!

Boy, I vaguely remember that episode! I think it was suppossed to be for shock value that she would hit a kid that wasn't hers- HOWEVER, he was asking for some kind of punishment, I know I would have been spanked for doing that.
