Default Do you think Laura is pretty?

It wasn't believable to me when she played a character who was know to be a 'beauty.' In one episode this guy said she was "the prettiest girl in the whole' school. I wonder how big was his school. I'm not saying she is ugly but not considered beautiful or anything. Myra was pretty though.

Myra was very pretty. It's a shame she died at a young age. She had a beautiful smile.

Laura looked pretty good in the middle seasons with the shoulder length straight hair. Near the end, when her hair was REAL short, I didn't like it.

Yes, Myra's smile could light up a room.

Not IMO. She wasn't ugly, but she was real looking, meaning that she wasn't overexaggeratedly gorgeous like Kyla Pratt or the girl who played Zaria on The Parent Hood. The latter actress was clearly cast more for her looks than for acting ability.

You could wholly believe that Kelli Williams and Darius McCrary were JoMarie's kids on Family Matters.

I wonder why the producers and/or directors felt that Laura's hair would be very short in the last few seasons. Maybe they thought it would make her look more mature.

I agree. Kellie Shaygnee Williams is very attractive, but there have been quite a few other girls on the show that really have her beat.

From "Raising Dad" a short lived sitcom with Bob Saget of "Full House" fame.

What's that girl's name that was Laura's friend & she dated Waldo? She is hot. She used to play on Punky Brewster.

I didn't like it either when Laura got that hair cut, I remember an episode later on when Laura got a wig. I think Greta and Myrtle were fighting and then Laura said "Y'all almost made my wig fall out!".

Laura was pretty. I liked that she was a dark brown girl and she was the most sought after girl on the show. How many shows actually did that before this show? Lisa Bonet and Jasmine Guy was biracial.

To me, it depended a lot on how her hair was. Some hairstyles she had made her pretty, but some were forgettable.

I agree. Laura's hair during the 7th and 8th seasons was too short.

God bless you always!!!
