Has anyone else here remember watching Abbott and Costello movies from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Channel 11 from New York?
Yes, I know I'm getting old, but I just loved them. And it was usually F-Troop before them. If you miss them, go radiolovers.com, and you can listen to their shows for free and Jack Benny, etc. Hope this has helped. Jersey |

I remember those movies airing in the 70s and early 80s too (Not sure about the 80s). They ran for years in that timeslot. I also remember the tv series being syndicated on weekday afternoons on wpix11 in the 70s. I probably saw every episode at least once.

I remember the Abbott & Costello movies on WPIX since the 70's and 80's (or at the time since I was born) before it became a WB station. Since the late 80's, all of the Abbott & Costello movies disappeared from the WPIX library and moved over to other cable outlets like for example AMC, TCM, etc. Thank goodness for the DVD's.
I have all the Abbott & Costello movies I copied off of AMC from about two or three years ago. I'll convert these into these DVD's soon.

They were on WPIX Channel 11...
I've always liked them. I also liked the 1/2 hour show too. |
