This saturday at 10 pm et., E! will air the 1984-85 season premere. The episode had no host, with the Thompson Twins as the musical guest.

This is big news, because it has been a long time, that a cable channel has aired a rerun of SNL from the early 80's.

I didnt know she was ever on SNL till recently

Yes she was part of the cast that year.

That is awesome. 80's are some of the few seasons I havn't seen.

On Saturday September 4 at 10 pm et., E! is going to air an episode from the 1988-89 season. The episode hosted by Mel Gibon, with Living Color as the musical guest.

I have a feeling that while most of the week, E! will air newer SNL episodes, once a week they will air an SNL from the 70's and 80's.

I think everyone agrees it should be the other way around. Too bad E! (and all the other channels) isn't in sync with what the viewers want to see.
