Was there ever an update to either of the following cases (or does anybody even remember them)?
*The first is one of a missing woman. A girl's mom had went out for the evening and was to be home late. Late that night she received a call from somebody saying she was her mom's friend and that she would be home late. The poor girl's mother never came home. There was some speculation about where the location of her mother's body but it was never found there. Does anybody recall this case? Was there an update? *The second took place in a furniture store. The store owner was arrested for the murder of his wife and other family members in the store. Two black men said that he attempted to frame them in the murders. He denied this. However, a witness staying at a nearby motel testified to seeing a police car at the store before the murders took place. Was there a new trial for the man? Anybody else remember this one? |

I remember the first case. Her name was Mary Ann Perez and was from Louisiana. I don't think her body was ever found but I remember in the segment they said a serial killer and his wife confessed to her murder. They found her purse in the water, I believe, but didn't find her body where the couple said they put her. This led to the family's speculation that maybe when they dumped her off she wasn't really dead, just badly injured, and wandered off somewhere. The police seem to believe the serial killers confession (I don't remember their name) because of all the facts they knew that matched the case but I don't know if they were ever charged with her murder.

The name of the man convicted of the furniture store carnage is Tommy Zeigler. (His full name is William Thomas Zeigler.) He is still incarcerated, and has not won a new trial.
His inmate profile (which is said to be current as of this month) is at the following link: http://www.dc.state.fl.us/ActiveInma...onID=134473261 |
