Default I met Charles (Scott Baio) today

hey whats up group. i usually don't post that much in here. i just wanted to pass along that i met scott baio today. he was on the live with regis and kelly show. he still looked the same and hasn't aged a bit.
He was very gracious. I got there around 9am and waited about 30-40 minutes till he came out. LuckilY thanks to some other fans we checked the back and front to see what entrance he was coming out of. He came out the front and signed for a few people. He was gonna leave but i told him that I'm a big fan of his work and he took picture with me as well shaking my hand. Some interesting notes coming out of the interview was that he's in the superbabies 2 movie. I reccomend this it looks funny and said him and his fiance will be tying the knot next spring.
BEST OF LUCK TO THEM BOTH
enjoy the day guys

That's cool that you met him. I saw him on Regis & Kelly and I thought he looked a lot older. He looked scrawny. Maybe it was the clothes, but he didn't look like the buffed guy I remember.

I also thought he was evasive about his upcoming marriage. He said something like, "we had to postpone it because my fiance has a really good job". Then he added, "we'll probably get married later this year, or maybe the beginning of next year". My bet is they'll never get married. I love Scott, but it's pretty well known he's a dog.

I wish the interview had been more indepth. There is so much to ask him. They wasted the whole time talking about how he ran into Kelly while she was breast feeding her baby at the beach. Only Scott Baio would use a story about seeing one of Kelly's boobs as his immediate opening line when he got on stage.

Default I met charles (scott baio) today

Saw Scott on regis & kelly I thought he looked great. The transition from child star to adult actor is hard enough without constant comparison to his youthfull past. He could be a druggie with a couple of ex-wives and forgotten kids, give him some credit. He is now a handsome, slender, talented adult, with no damage left in his wake, whats the rush to get married. The story about Kelly was true & funny and the question about his fiance both were handled like a gentleman. So he likes beautiful women, HE IS A MAN, God bless him, & straight. He is more talented than most actors his age(see The Bread My Sweet aka A Wedding for Bella it will be on cable next week). It's a small film, but he is terrific & beautiful to watch barechested and all. I would love to see him do more films, he deserves more respect as an actor, and as a man, he seems like a nice guy.

I agree Scott seems to be a pretty normal guy for someone who spent his childhood and adolecence in the public eye..Tjhe decission on marriage is between he and his fiancee..They have been living together since 2001 so if that suits them its up to them.I think he deserves a private life.DON'T you??
As for the comment hes a dog.I dont agree with that.Yes hes been involved with alot of women but that is his his past.hes been with the same woman for 4 years and shouldnt that prove something.hes oviously changed and should be given some credit.that was his past so leave it there.
i think he has aged well.come on hes 43 years old.hes still a very handsome looking man and in great shape for someone his age.hes got alot more talents than alot of actors out there.
i think he should be given more credit for his acting and the person that he is

Whoa! I'm a the biggest Scott Baio fan around, but lets be honest. The guy is great eye candy and can act a little, but he's no Marlon Brando. While he didn't end up as a drug addicted teen idol, he certainly didn't soar to the stardom of other 80's teen idols like Johnny Depp or Matt Dillon.

As far as his looks, sure he looks great for a guy in his 40's. In his 20's though he was the hottest guy alive. A killer face and bod.

And I have no problem with him being a dog, but if you followed his career you know he was one. He has dated the best looking women in hollywood and he has been engaged to be married 3 times.

That's Scott and that's the guy I love.

Matt Dillon..soar..where is he?? Depp did you see him at the awards with that dumb hat scroungy hair, he looked like a homeless female. Good actor maybe, to quirky for me, all serious affectation living in France. Scott did soar at 17, with a doppy name, on a comedy show. He's known all over the world as Chachi, and will probably be known as that for a long time, he's an icon of sorts. Thats the problem, fortunately for me I didn't see him on TV, the first time I saw him, he was an adult, so I didn't have this preconcieved, idea of him. He's a director, producer, writer, sometimes using the name Scott Vincent Baio, I would think so he can seperate himself from his youthfull reputation. To judge him as talented actor you have to see him in The Bread My Sweet, he was wonderfull.
