Default A question about the cheetah girls?

Quote:
Even with widespread blackouts in the Northeast, a ton of viewers tuned in for last Friday's premiere of The Cheetah Girls -- around 6.5 million to be more exact -- making it the second most watched program on cable last week. About 3.7 million extra viewers watched the special alternate ending of The Cheetah Girls that Sunday.

The Cheetah Girls premiere was also the second most watched Disney Channel program ever, behind last year's premiere of Cadet Kelly. And to top that, that Friday was also the highest-rated day ever in Disney Channel history, according to today's New York Post.
If that's so, how is it still trailing Cadet Kelly? I mean, because of the blackout, shouldn't the two premiere ratings be added up? Ok, with those two rating premieres at hand the total premiere viewers for the Cheetah Girl's was 10 million viewers! Cadet Kelly was 7.4 million, I think.

I know this is old you guys but I just realized how completely messed up it was that there would be a blackout the exact day it premiered, cutting atleast 3 million of their viewers. Robbed. Lol, I'm crazy...

Yes, this is the blackout, it happened the day before The Cheetah Girls premiered and a lot of people still didn't have power, once the movie debuted. They only recorded 6.5 million viewers for the premiere, not counting the people who would watch the encores that weekend. There were 3.7 million more viewers who tuned in for the encore, but I was wondering why didn't they combine the ratings...it would have been Disney Channels highest rated movie ever, but they saying it still trials Cadet Kelly.

I don't think Cadet Kelly is coming out on DVD, I heard there was a high demand for TCG and that's why they released.
