The Munsters: America's First Family of Fright DVD was cancelled, because they thought that people would be confused in what they should buy, on August 24th. Kevin Burns reported in saying, that he thought the Family of Fright DVD should come out later, but then Universal said, why don't we use it in the Season 2 release of The Munsters?

So to break it down for you, it was cancelled, so it could come out in the Season 2 release.

Make sure you go out and get a copy of Season 1! It would make a GREAT gift! And don't forget, if enough copies of Season 1 are sold, Season 2 will come out sooner than we think. So go out and get your copies, ASAP!!!

I also heard that the Color Presentation (Pilot) is going to be in it's original un-cut form in the Season 1 release.
