Anyone else love this film? Its one of my favourites, anyone else agree? I always cry at some points in it and laugh at some points in it. Great film, and a great acting job by Mr. Downey Jr.

It's not a bad movie. I think it's one of Downey's best and it is one of the better biopics of a Hollywood legend.

OK, I've got some issues involving the real Charlie Chaplin, but I did watch the movie and it was portrayed so well by RDJr! He is such a cutie - even now *sigh*

"Chaplin" is a very good film. I thought it was one of the most underrated films of that year.

Query: Why did Charlie Chaplin hate Christmas?
I remember reading this, but it's been so long ago - I've drawn a blank. Feen |

I agree that Chaplin was probably the best work that Robert Downey Jr. has done, or is likely to do. I'd like to think he could still get his life and career back on track, but when one of his more recent "triumphant" returns to acting after several rehabs and jail terms was a recurring role on Ally McBeal (as that show was gasping its last stale breath), I figured he was about done. It's sad when truly talented people seem to actively seek out ways to mess up their lives. He could have been one of Hollywood's great ones. |

Less Than Zero is pretty depressing but I've always liked it, too. |
