Default Shows that would make good movies??

I think Good Times, Gilligan's Island, Green Acres, and Sanford & Son would make very good movies.

That wouldve been my top pick.... but seeing that it's already coming, I didnt include it.

I think Who's The Boss? could work too, a romantic-comedy.

Yeah I would def. watch IDOJ on the big screen.

I would say Bewitched as well, and of course WTB?

Boy Meets World could possibly work too

I agree with the first 2, but now BMW.
The characters changed too much for a movie to be based on it.

Whereas the other shows listed on this thread featured characters that basically stayed the same from beginning to end.

For example, like BMW, a show like Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends or Frasier could never work -- because the characters went through such big changes through the series.

And still, other series couldn't make good movies because the series star made the show what it was (ILL, TDVDS, TCS)

Actually a Good Times movie is in the works. their choice of actors isn't too good.

Awesome.
I think it could work ala The Brady Bunch movies.

Have them be a family "living in the 70s" although they're surrounded by the ghetto of the new millenium.

"Laverne & Shirley"
"The Golden Girls"
"Three's Company" - with just the original characters
"The Flying Nun"
"Mister Ed"
"Green Acres"

The Facts Of Life. If they wanted to make it like The Brady Bunch Movie and spoof it it could work well.

they are doing a "Bewitched" movie. It starts filming next month, and it's scheduled for realease in, I think, December. It's gonna be with Will Farrell and Nicole Kidman.
