Default Your Favorite Not-So-Famous I Love Lucy Moment

Everyone loves Lucy's Vitameatavegamin routine, the chocolate factory scene, and the grapestomping wrestling match, but now I want to know your favorite not-so-famous, less recognized I Love Lucy moment. Mine, for example, is when Lucy dressed up as Carmen Miranda and was lipsinging to the record when the record started skipping! The first time I saw that I was practically rofl!!! What's yours?

WOW good question...well really there atre so many wonderful UNNOTICED moments it is hard to just name one but I would have to say .... in the episode "first stop" when they are spending the night and when the train passes through the bed how un level it is and the bunk beds not to mention the tooth paste just how Lucille Desi Viv. and William act it makes the scene so halarious!

As Vita_Girl said, there are so many it's hard to pick just one. One of my favorites is Lucy's antics on the bus tour of the stars' homes.

This scene only "works" the first time you see it, but I remember that time when I first saw the ep where Little Ricky gets the puppy and the tenants complain so Fred tells them he has to get rid of it. Ricky and Lucy agree that "the one who sees him first" next morning will be the one to tell him the dog has to go. Ricky wakes up, looks at Lucy's bed where she is still sleeping with the blankets pulled over her. He fixes his pillows and blankets to make it look like he is still in bed, then he sneaks into the walk-in closet to get dressed. Then Lucy peers out from another room already dressed.

I have so many, here's a few:

I love the scene were Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel do everything to the beat of little Ricky's drum! OMG this is hysterical!

That episode where they are adjusting the tv for like ten minutes and everytime someone fixes something it gets out of focus and mass chaos ensues! I think this is the episode with Ricky on the radio.

Also, in the Comedy hour episode, I love the "high speed chase" where Ethel and Fred try and beat everyone else to the claim's office and use some nasty tactics! This is like the funniest 20 minutes of tv I have ever seen!

I also love how during the Diet episode Lucy tries to act like one of those younger girl and bares her middrift and tries to dance (unsuccessfully)

I love when Lucy is on the run away lawn mower and then when she comes back she is discribing her story to Ethel. We didn't have to see it, but its amazing to picture her doing.

Lucille Ball could just simply discribe something and it was funny, like another example was when Lucy is explaining to Ethel how the cars ended up switched while she was driving.

Another favorite of mine is when Lucy pretends to be a chair.

I Loved Lucy as the bull. That was funny. Ethel goes "For one the bull is full of Lucy"

When they are in Italy and going up all those stairs and they're all pooped out by the time they get to their rooms and Fred goes there is a bunch of pidgeons roosting on the ledge and Ethel goes "those aren't pidgeons, they're angels"

When Lucy milks the cow that was hilarious.

Lucy Gets in Pictures" Don't you wanna see me die?"
Don't temp me.

When Ethel and Lucy rehearse Friendship.

Lucy goes to Scotland...I loved everything about the episode. Here are some excerpts.
Ricky: You got a matta prita face
Lucy" I got a matta Pretty face?

Ricky: My name is Scotty McTavish McDoogle MCCardo
Lucy: You're Scotch?

"My name is Lucy" (she looked so cute there)

Fred and Ethel as the Dragon

and last but not least Lucy meets the Queen where she tries tomake that palace guard laugh with all her antics.

Default My favorite non-famous Lucy Moment

I actually have a few favorites:

1) Lucy confronting Madame X thinking that she is Ethel.

2) The Florida road trip with Elsa Lanchester. Laugh out loud riot! Especially the scene where they on the side of the road where Lucy kicks a tire a la Ricky!

3) yes, lord, Little Ricky's incessant drumming.

4) The little play that Lucy and the women put together- only to be taken apart piece by piece at the end. I loved the singing buildup to that scene.

5) The Bonus Bucks episode

My favorite part is when the Ricardos and the Mertz's went camping and Lucy(as usual) had come up with a sceme that made Ethel climb up a tree in the woods. Then Lucy is all asking her"How'd you get up there?" and Ethel gives her this serious face and is all "It wasn't easy!!" LOL!! Just the look on Ethel's face had me

The Indian Show in season two. When Lucy takes that other lady's place and Ricky starts singing not realizing it is Lucy yet. The look on his face when Lucy starts singing. Then a little later in the song ricky sings "Come here"
And Lucy Relplies AAAHHHHHAHHHHH UUUUHHHHUUHHH!
To the tune of the song they are singing. that cracks me up everytime.
And the Florida roadtrip when Ethel realizes that woman has a hatchet. Her face when she stops and says "HATCHET"
Ethel has some priceless looks!

I would say the one moment that sticks out to me that I can watch over and over again is the episode "Lucy raises Tulips". When she is out of control on the lawn mower and as she passes by the window when Ethel is on the phone..."Ethelllllllll"! That cracks me up everytime!

Thats one of my favorite episodes. And when Ethel is on the phone and shes talking to the guy and shes like "she just passed your store?" I love when Lucy comes back and she is describing to ethel about where she was and she says "Ive seen parts of Connecticut I never knew existed" I love that line. Even though you don't exactly see what happened to Lucy, it was just incredible imagining it all from the way Lucy told the story.

I remember where Lucy has to dress up as the witch and Ethel gets to be the good fairy in Little Ricky's play--Lucy was perfect flying across the stage.
Lucy and Ethel are trying to buy lingerie at a cheaper price when Fred and Ricky think they are fooling around with the salesman--Fred thinking the guy is nuts if he is carrying on with Ethel.
