In one ep Friday stays over Gannon's house for the weeekend. He (Gannon) says he got a glazed duck recipe from the lady who does cooking shows on tv. Julia Child (who has just passed away, God rest her soul) was on the air in 1961. Was Julia Child the woman Gannon was referring to?

I have that particular episode where Joe stays over at Gannon's house and the glazed duck. It could possibly have referred to Julia Child but it could have referred to some other cooking shows that were hosted by women in Los Angeles.
