Talking Terri & Jack

I am one of the few that would've rather have Jack & Terri together than Jack & Janet. If the producers would've did something right on the show, when they brought in Terri, they should've started a relationship right away. Why? It would've been a different story line. I mean, how many episodes have we've seen Jack dodge Mr. Furley or Mr. Roper with different girlfriends? It would've been a bit different if he had to keep his relationship with Terri from Mr. Furley (especially if they were living there with Janet) I just think the story lines might have been a bit different.

As far as the whole Janet & Jack relationship went on, I do see they had chemistry, but they were living together for like 7 years, for them to get married, nothing would've changed except the fact that they would be in a relationship. I just felt like they were already married in its own sense. I just think they had that playful best friend/brother sister relationship. I know I just say they acted like they were married and they had a brother sister relationship but it just felt like they couldn't get possibly any closer than they already were.

Terri could've had alot of potenial with Jack. While they did, and even something toward the end of their last season could've worked out. I felt like he had more of a sexual chemistry with Terri than Janet. Janet & Jack didn't have any chemistry that Terri & Jack didn't have.

In the pilot episode its obvious that Jack was very attracted to Chrissy, while Janet he didn't look at that way, which was fine. When Terri was introduced, they had a rough start, but in Terri Makes her Move, its obvious that Jack was enjoying the affection that Terri was giving him. Not that Janet couldn't of done the same thing and he would've reacted differently (because he probably wouldn't of) I'm just saying that Janet's character didn't act that way toward Jack (not that she couldn't of, she just wouldn't of lead him on) After Terri got to know Jack, she didn't lead him on either (unless you count the episode where Terri falls for Jack's new look) In that episode Jack told Terri they would be wrong for each other, but if you would ignore what he said in that, there still could've been a relationship.

Also Jack didn't act more affectionally to Janet than Terri at all. At the end of the episodes if something joyful happened he kissed both girls, so it wasn't that Janet was any more special than Terri really, unless you count that he had known her longer. Jack also had his special moments with Janet and Terri, so it wasn't that he was too obviously closer than either girl.I do think that if Terri and Jack would've "hooked" up, Janet wouldn't of taken it very well but shes also understanding that if they liked each other she would be happy for them. Same thing goes for Terri.

I just don't get why there are so many Janet/Jack fans out there where I see that Terri/Jack could've happened just as easy, maybe even easier if the writers would've done somethng about it. I do think that Terri and Jack had that chemistry, I just think Janet & Jack had it longer, but while knowning each other longer is a good thing for a relationship, it would also hurt their chances with each other considering they knew each other for so many years and nothing happened.

I don't know. I guess I just liked Terri and Jack together, not that I would've been horribly angry if Jack & Janet would've ended up with each other. I'm sure the same thing goes for Jack & Janet fans. You must admit, if the writers would've taken Jack & Terri in that direction, it wouldn't of been as bad as the ending they gave us.

In the episode "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow", Jack did tell Terri it would've never worked out with them, and you can't ignore what he said, he obviously meant it.
I never really saw a connection with Terri and Jack, I mean I never saw that they were attracted to each other or anything, unless they were fooling around or something. I agree that the writers could've done something to change the last season to make it revolve around Jack and Terri, but the same could've been done with Jack and Janet too. If you read fanfictions, those fanfic writers have ideas that could've turned everything around for Jack and Janet, and they're not even professionals!
I also agree a Terri and Jack ending would've been better than the ending they gave us, any ending would be better than the ending they gave us! I just can't imagine Jack and Terri together romantically, I don't think Terri was interested in him that way, and I don't see any chemistry like when I see Jack and Janet.

I dont like Jack and Janet together at all, Janet is far too condescending towards him.

I think coming from the viewpoint of the opposite sex, Terri is by far the most appealing

You can't change anything that happened in Three's Company, but I'm saying the writers could've just as easily made Jack & Terri a romantic couple as they could've Janet & Jack if not, easier. Terri and Jack I think had a good chemistry together. Different from Jack & Janet, but I think it was just more sexual than the best friend sorta thing Jack & Janet had.

I never said that Three's Company could be changed, because it can't. Maybe Jack and Terri could've become a couple easier than Jack and Janet, but we'll never know. I think if season 8 revolved around Jack and Janet developing feelings for each other, the audience would become interested in what would happen between them. With Jack and Terri, anything could've happened. Either way, the audience would be interested in what would happen between the roommates, romantically or not.

i don't know if jack and terri would have worked, never really thought about it before. i do kinda think that if anyone jack would have been better w/ janet. actually i think in the end jack should have married janet or at least lived w/ her romantically, and terri should have been the one to marry someone out of the show. i hate what they did to terri. they didn't give her a very good ending. they just said she's moving away and that's it. i don't think that was right at all.

Janet is always scolding Jack. In one of the episodes last week, he even said "OK, mommy".
