Default TV Land marathon

Well, it looks like the TV Land marathon will be starting 8/20 with episode #1/Legacy

curiously,
Legacy is on at 6:30 AM
Around the world in Eighty Years at 11:00 AM
Return To Nantucket Part 1 at 11:30 AM
Return To Nantucket Part 2 at 12:00 PM
There once was a Girl from Nantucket at 12:30 PM
then..

back to Around the World at 5:30 PM
Return To Nantucket Part 1 at 6:00 PM
Return To Nantucket Part 2 at 6:30 PM
There once was a Girl from Nantucket at 7:00 PM
All For One and Two For Helen at 7:30 PM

That takes them from episode 1-6. I wonder if they will show "A Terminal Christmas" when they get to that slot (Epiosde 17)

I hope they dont continue to double up on the episodes, it just means we will get there slower.

How many weeks were they going to be doing Wings marathons?

Thumbs up Great!

Thanks much for the info! I need to go get some VHS tapes since the whole DVD thing is still in the air.

The second marathon is confirmed as showing episodes 7-12.

Now let's see if they show #17 A Terminal Christmas during the 3rd marathon on September 3rd.

Frankly, I really don't know what's up with these TV Land "Wings" marathons....Why are they having them? Is it to "test the waters" for possibly ending "Wings" on NICK and bringing it over to TV Land?

I don't know WHAT the reason is, but I think that it's GREAT that they're doing it. The fact that they're devoting so much TV Land air time to "Wings" shows that the NICK/TV Land powers-that-be have SOME interest in the series...they don't think that it's a complete bomb and a waste of air time. They obviously see SOME future for the series.

Plus, having "Wings" on TWO networks helps keep the series alive in people's minds....especially since the TV Land airings are on at decent hours!

LONG LIVE "WINGS"!!!!!

I've heard because they have quite a few airplays per episode left. I guess they expected it do better than it has on Nick@Nite. But it is not going to move to TV Land, they are just going to air weekly marathons until at least October.

Gee, that's surprising....You'd think that there would be TONS of people who would be awake at 3 or 4 in the morning to watch "WINGS"!

True. I don't care what else is on. If I'm awake at 3 in the morning, "Wings" is on my TV set.

Hopefully these tips about the show coming to DVD are true. Then all of us can give up not only N@N but syndication altogether.

so what is the deal with "A Terminal Christmas" and "Black Eye Affair" ? How come Nick wont show them? Are they bad copies that still need the audio or video repaired?

Any thruth to the theory they wont show "Black Eye Affair" because of the terrorist comment?

I know A Terminal Christmas is a Christmas episode, but they've shown all the other Christmas episodes in the regular rotation.

As for Black Eye Affair, if the terrorist theory is true, than why can't they just take the word out if it offends them so much?
