Would you buy them??
I have The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson Collection, a 3-Disc set. I also plan on buying the 2 Conan O'Brien DVDs that are coming out tomorrow (although not right away) I was wondering.... would you buy them on DVD?? And how would you like them released?? Best-ofs, containing complete episodes? Best-ofs with clips from hundreds, maybe thousands of episodes?? Or complete "seasons", although -- they'd probably have to be released by month. |

I'd buy classic Tonight Show. Especially from the mid-late 70s. Too bad they're "lost."

I'd buy them by the month...But that'd get expensive. I LOVE The Rosie O'Donnell Show, and she did more than 1000 episodes during her 6-year run.
![]() But if that weren't to be an option, then I'd have to settle for best ofs with complete eps.

I might be the only one in the world who would want this, but 10 or so years ago, one of my favorite shows on tv period was the Richard Bey Show. Anybody who remembers it will probably say how stupid it was. I'd say it. But that's my type of entertainment, I Loved that show and would definitely get it if it were ever released on dvd, which is highly unlikely.
As for traditional talk shows, since I'm mostly into music, I wouldn't mind seeing a collection of musical performances from shows, like the Arsenio Hall Show or Letterman. Actually, I'd buy Letterman dvds not just for music performances but everything else as well. He could have a nothing, boring guest and it would still be entertaining to me. I loved his late night show on NBC. |

I'd buy "best of" collections of "The Tonight Show" episodes when Steve Allen and Jack Parr hosted it.

After watching "The Ultimate Collection Starring Johnny Carson", I REALLY want the show to be released on DVD, with complete episodes.
Same goes for Letterman and Conan.... but I want Carson most. |
